چکیده
Research on 2D modeling of the subsurface structure Bengkulu city area was carried out using geomagnetic method. In this study, we collected data from 130 measurement points a set Proton Procession Magnetometers (PPM) to obtain total magnetic field value. The were processed by making corrections daily variations and IGRF (International Geomagnetic Reference Field). We conducted correction contour anomaly. After that, anomaly used for reduction poles. This research results show pair positive negative closures. Cross-sections made closure pairs determine 2-dimensional (2D) model Mag2DC software. interpretation shows that three rock layers are continuously arranged. average susceptibility value first layer is 0.00001 cgs which sandstone at depth 0-400 meters; second has an 0.002 dominated clay 400-700 meters, and; third 0.006 basalt 700-1000 meters.

today, scouring is one of the important topics in the river and coastal engineering so that the most destruction in the bridges is occurred due to this phenomenon. whereas the bridges are assumed as the most important connecting structures in the communications roads in the country and their importance is doubled while floodwater, thus exact design and maintenance thereof is very crucial. f...
2D Analytical Modeling of Magnetic Vector Potential in Surface Mounted and Surface Inset Permanent Magnet Machines
A 2D analytical method for magnetic vector potential calculation in inner rotor surface mounted and surface inset permanent magnet machines considering slotting effects, magnetization orientation and winding layout has been proposed in this paper. The analytical method is based on the resolution of Laplace and Poisson equations as well as Maxwell equation in quasi- Cartesian coordinate by using...
متن کامل2d Cavity Modeling Using Method of Moments and Iterative Solvers
The method of moments (MoM) and the electric field integral equations (EFIEs), for both parallel and perpendicular polarization were applied to simulate scattering from 2D cavity structures. This code employed several matrix equation solvers, such as the LU decomposition, conjugate gradient (CG) method, bi-conjugate gradient (BCG) method, generalized conjugate residual (GCR) method, and general...
متن کاملModeling Fractal Structure of City-Size Distributions Using Correlation Functions
Zipf's law is one the most conspicuous empirical facts for cities, however, there is no convincing explanation for the scaling relation between rank and size and its scaling exponent. Using the idea from general fractals and scaling, I propose a dual competition hypothesis of city development to explain the value intervals and the special value, 1, of the power exponent. Zipf's law and Pareto's...
